15” French Doll DEP Jumeau 1890ca+ Wonderful French Doll with vibrant paperweight blue eyes on Straight wrist Early French Body. The doll is cabinet size, 15” tall. She is Perfect! She is an early doll by Jumeau Factory with head supplied by Simon Halbig. She has a perfect head with lovely blue eyes; they don’t sleep by used to in a past. The eyes are on a rocker but they stabilized with plaster. Do not move. It is reversible. She has painted light brown eyebrows as early dolls. She has an open mouth with upper porcelain teeth.. She has cork pate with pale blond high quality lambskin mohair wig. She wears dark blue glass earrings. Marking: DEP 6. The doll is in her original early chunky French wood and composition body with all original finish to composition. No repaint, damages or repairs to her body. She is dressed in old vintage underclothes with leather boots and cotton socks. Her dress is home made of fine pink silk with pinafore. She is a Darling girl!
