Today we would like to present One of many items from our shop. 19" Antique French Doll Bisque Head Character by SFBJ Mold 247 circa 1900+ The doll is made by SFBJ Company. This doll has bisque socket head with fine lustrous patina. She has blue glass sleep eyes with some original mohair lashes left, painted lower lashes, short painted brows, red dots for accent of her nose's nostrils. She has a closed mouth modeled as though open with outlined lips, tiny stuck-out tongue, two porcelain upper teeth. Her head has no damages such as cracks or hairlines. She has replacement mohair wig with pate. she artist marks at the top of the head. It was made during production. Head markings. SFBJ 247 Paris 8 ~~~~~~~~~~~ This darling is in her French composition flapper style body with side hip joint, body has normal wear with repainted low legs. It is done very well and hard to tell. She strung well and hold a pose. Can stand on her own with a little support or on a stand. ~~~~~~ Little child girl wears her pale pink two piece bunny suite with antique one piece undergarment and black patent leather shoes with white stockings. Shoes are a great reproduction from antique shoes. They are made of black patent leather with brown silk bow and buckle and brown ribbon ties. Very lovely girl to add to your collection.
